Been trying to find a replacement for VS boyfriend pants in an organic fiber, and these are it and more! SO comfortable, could even wear them to bed as pajamas. Yet dressy enough to wear in public, unlike the VS boyfriend pants.I'm 5 foot 6, about 125 pounds, 39 hips and size 8 fit perfectly with a little bit of room for comfort, but not so much as to be baggy or needing to cinch up with the drawstring. With a 33 to 34 inch inseam needed for most pants to my length liking, these are long enough once I've let the hem down to the first fold. A slightly stubborn ridge remains after lowering the hem where the former hemline was but after several washes it begins to disappear. The linen fiber feels wonderful next to the skin and they're the most comfy pair of pants I now own after ditching the VS pants.Metal grommets on the exterior side of the waistband keep the drawstring in place so it doesn't ride up and shift around like some other styles I've tried.Washed on delicate cycle in cold, then placed in the dryer on low setting for several minutes to get wrinkles out and then hung to dry, they haven't shrunk anything noticeably that I could tell.Love them so much, came back to buy more colors!I had these pants in the tan color in a size 8 and they are so soft and comfortable. They do run a little big and they also stretch with wear, but the ties at the waist allow you to adjust to keep them from hanging too low. They do run pretty long as well, I'm 5'8" tall and they are too long for me unless I wear a heel to keep them from dragging the ground in the back.I decided to order the Gravel color and the only size they had left was a 6. I decided to go ahead and get the smaller size since the 8's I already have are loose and long, however when I got my order, the pants were a size 8 instead of 6. I decided to keep them instead of returning since I knew I could tie the waist. Still wondering how the size 6 would have fit, but I do love these pants for those days when you want to look casual and feel comfortable.I have two pair of these pants, one in the blue ash, and the other in gravel. They're well made, the stitching is of good quality, and the fabric is light but strong. My only qualm was I had to immediately hem both of these about 5 inches - and I'm 5' 4"! They are a bit low-slung, but even with them pulled up higher, there was a good 4 inches dragging on the ground. I really wish tall/regular/short had been an option on these pants. If you're 5' 8" or taller, these are great ready-to-wear pants for you! Me, I'm just glad I was taught how to hem properly, lol! If you're shorter than me, put on stilts, break out the sewing kit or get em on sale and take them to a tailor. Not completely worth the steep price for the work I had to do to make them wearable!I love these, but I have to take off one star because they are incredibly long. I am 5'4" and I've never seen pants this long outside of the Tall Girl shop. My 6'4" BIL said he would have to have them hemmed! But I know how to hem them properly, and now that they are a proper length I am very happy with them. Very comfortable and loose fitting but not sloppy. The material is good quality, not see through, and the stitching is good. Nice details without being too busy. The cut is flattering for my shape, which is slightly curvy. I would order several pairs if I had more spare time for hemming.Fits in the waist but really baggy in the bum. Works well with long shirts but I don't like wearing fitted shirts with it.Beautiful pants! Sturdy but light and comfortable. I'm 5'9" and the length is fine. I usually wear a 13 and the 14's are a little big in the waist for me but with the drawstring, I can tighten and they're still flattering. Overall one of my favorite pair of paints. Worth the money if you like the style because they are so well made. Raisin is prettier in personThese pants are just the right blend of cotton and hemp to give a flattering looseness. I bought a pair two years ago, thought I lost them and was delighted they were still available. I found my first pair and now I have two!Great except for one thing. The buttons came off on the back pockets. These pants are loose on me, so I'm not squeezing into them. I'm 110 lbs and 5'6" and I bought a size 2, so buttons are NOT coming off cuz they're popping off of a too tight fit. I would expect more quality from this company and for the PRICE. :(
